About the Role
You lead daily reconciliation operations and quality assurance across bank, P2P, merchant and credit card transactions. You resolve discrepancies, manage dispute SLAs and audits, improve processes with AI-assisted tools, coordinate with partners, and present insights to finance leadership.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of high-volume transaction reconciliation experience
- Experience investigating and resolving complex discrepancies
- Supervisory or team leadership experience in reconciliations or finance operations
- Knowledge of global or multi-currency payment and settlement chains
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with reconciliation tools
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities under pressure and meet month-end deadlines
- Credit card reconciliation or credit product knowledge is a plus
- General accounting principles and banking system architecture knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Own quality assurance across transaction reconciliations
- Cover the Reconciliations Manager's responsibilities when needed
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
- Lead SLA performance for customer disputes and internal escalations
- Drive reconciliation process improvements using AI-assisted tooling
- Manage internal and external audit cycles
- Maintain banking and payments partner relationships
- Coordinate with Finance, Engineering and Product teams
- Present reconciliation reports and insights to finance leadership
