About the Role
You will lead hyperscale data-centre delivery in Sines, Portugal from design through construction, commissioning, and operational handover. You will coordinate project managers and contractors, manage scope, schedule, quality, budgets, risks, safety, documentation, regulatory compliance, stakeholder communications, and the transition to operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience in the data-centre or mission-critical sector
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
- Ability to manage complex multi-discipline delivery teams across geographies
- Knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and coordination
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency with project-management and reporting tools
- Understanding of commercial and contractual principles
Responsibilities
- Lead data-centre project delivery from design through operational handover
- Manage project scope, schedule, and quality
- Coordinate discipline project managers and integrate work packages
- Oversee budgets and schedules with the Commercial Manager
- Lead design reviews, approvals, and documentation control
- Manage contractor capabilities, resource planning, and performance
- Identify delays and develop recovery plans
- Ensure safety compliance through engagement and auditing
- Chair status meetings and issue reports
- Support building-code and regulatory compliance
- Lead risk identification, tracking, and resolution
- Coordinate delivery and transition to operations with internal departments
