About the Role
You will lead concurrent data center infrastructure projects from design through build-out, upgrades, and replacements. You will coordinate contractors, providers, vendors, and technical stakeholders; manage schedules, budgets, OFCI equipment, and reporting; conduct site inspections; and improve designs and delivery practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of data center construction or critical infrastructure project management experience
- Knowledge of MEP systems and coordination with electrical, mechanical, and low-voltage trades
- Experience managing OFCI equipment procurement, submittals, and installation
- Experience reviewing Basis of Design documents, Sequence of Operations, and commissioning plans
- Documentation and writing skills
- Construction schedule, budget, forecasting, tracking, and reporting skills
- Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, and construction tracking or reporting platforms
- Communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple data center construction projects from design through physical build-out
- Oversee MEP contractors and equipment suppliers
- Coordinate electrical, mechanical, and low-voltage subject-matter experts
- Prepare, review, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Review and evaluate OFCI equipment submittals
- Participate in design reviews and commissioning planning
- Support RFPs, proposal evaluation, vendor selection, and vendor oversight
- Prepare project reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders
- Conduct construction site visits to verify quality, progress, and design adherence
- Coordinate network engineering, data center operations, HPC, supply chain, and technical project management stakeholders
- Propose and integrate new technologies and design concepts
