About the Role

You will serve as the on-site owner’s representative for a major data center project from groundbreaking through commissioning and handover. You will manage contractors, schedules, specifications, safety, budgets, change orders, meetings, RFIs, submittals, field issues, quality standards, and turnover documentation. This remote role requires travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
• 10+ years of experience managing complex, fast-track construction projects
• At least 5 years of data center or mission-critical facilities experience
• Deep understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and Levels 1-5 commissioning processes
• Ability to travel
• PMP or similar professional certification
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling software

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site owner’s representative from groundbreaking through commissioning and handover
• Manage the general contractor and sub-trades against schedules, technical specifications, and safety plans
• Own the project budget, expenditures, change orders, and progress payments
• Lead project meetings and coordinate RFIs, submittals, and field-level issue resolution
• Ensure construction complies with quality standards and turnover documentation requirements
