About the Role
This hands-on leadership role will set marketing strategy, lead campaigns across channels, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and use data to optimize marketing performance for Wave Senegal.
Requirements
- Fluent in French and English.
- 10+ years of marketing experience at an FMCG, technology startup, telecom company, or similar organization.
- University degree in marketing, communications, sales, business development, management, or a related field.
- Work authorization in Senegal is required.
- Data-oriented, analytical, detail-oriented, organized, creative, adaptable, tenacious, and a compelling written and verbal storyteller.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Head of Marketing in Senegal to plan and execute projects and campaigns.
- Create project briefs and documentation to guide cross-functional campaign production.
- Collaborate with Brand, Design, and creative teams on growth and brand-awareness assets.
- Build and refine the marketing funnel, lead scoring, and attribution.
- Analyze data and recommend ways to optimize marketing programs.
- Establish KPIs through dashboards and report results and insights.
- Report on country-specific user personas, behaviors, benchmarks, and market analysis.
