About the Role
You will own production operations for controllers and pendants, working with suppliers to maintain quality and fast production cycles. You will create operating procedures, train operators, manage materials, resolve manufacturing deviations, and troubleshoot hardware issues reported after deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar engineering discipline
- Experience with embedded-system products such as ECUs or audio devices
- Understanding of Linux and experience using Linux
- Understanding of electronics fundamentals
- English work proficiency or Japanese work proficiency with English reading and writing skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a testing or laboratory environment
- PCB assembly or testing experience
- Experience troubleshooting hardware or electromechanical systems
Responsibilities
- Create and continuously improve standard operating procedures
- Train and support operators in safe and consistent manufacturing execution
- Oversee raw-material procurement and inventory control
- Identify and resolve manufacturing process issues
- Classify deviations and make rework decisions
- Troubleshoot finished products deployed to internal customers
- Act as a technical contact for product claims, failures, and malfunctions
