About the Role
You will lead the onsite execution of a major customer deployment. You will coordinate site readiness, installation, commissioning, training, support readiness, operational handoff, and customer adoption. You will track delivery progress, validate evidence of completion, resolve readiness gaps, manage risks and escalations, and improve deployment playbooks.
Requirements
- 10+ years leading complex technical deployments in robotics, industrial automation, warehouse automation, material handling, infrastructure, or related environments
- Experience in a senior site-execution, technical program, deployment, operations, or similar leadership role
- Technical literacy in robotics, automation, controls, electrical and mechanical systems, or industrial equipment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, commissioning plans, acceptance criteria, and project documentation
- Experience managing vendors, systems integrators, contractors, field service providers, and installation teams
- Project execution, risk management, and escalation management skills
- Ability to assess technical and operational readiness independently
- Willingness to be onsite regularly during deployment, commissioning, and stabilization
Responsibilities
- Maintain an integrated execution plan across deployment and handoff activities
- Coordinate systems integrators, subcontractors, vendors, customer stakeholders, and internal teams
- Track owners, milestones, blockers, risks, and escalations
- Review technical documentation, engineering drawings, commissioning plans, safety documentation, and acceptance criteria
- Audit field execution against approved requirements and project scope
- Manage deployment punch lists and verify closure
- Validate commissioning reports, inspection records, test results, training records, signoffs, and acceptance documentation
- Identify and resolve gaps between reported completion and operational readiness
- Track schedules, dependencies, scope risks, and readiness metrics
- Escalate issues with recommendations and recovery plans
- Support customer operational decisions on workflows, staffing, throughput, operating windows, and system utilization
- Capture lessons learned and improve deployment methodologies and playbooks
