About the Role
You will maintain automated and robotic systems by inspecting, repairing, calibrating, replacing, and modifying components. You will troubleshoot vehicle and system issues, operate automated systems, document maintenance in the CMMS, recover robotic vehicles, perform minor utility work, service robotic arms, and follow safety and 5S requirements.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or a related field preferred
- At least 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent training
- Electro-mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently using procedures and manuals
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to perform inspection functions
- English written and verbal literacy
Responsibilities
- Meet OSHA, customer, and internal safety commitments
- Inspect automated storage, robotic vehicle, adapter, and lift systems
- Adjust, calibrate, repair, replace, and modify system components
- Monitor automated storage and retrieval system flow
- Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies using diagrams and test equipment
- Troubleshoot PLC and electro-mechanical systems
- Document inspections, repairs, parts, and labor in the CMMS
- Communicate production-impacting problems and corrective actions
- Operate automated systems and recover robotic vehicles
- Perform minor utility work and robotic-arm troubleshooting
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and follow 5S policies
- Perform Cell Operator functions as needed
