About the Role

You will lead field crews, mechanical construction work, and site operations for solar projects. You will plan labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, schedules, and costs; support robotics deployments; document operational learnings; and enforce safety, training, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Experience leading mechanical construction on utility-scale solar EPC projects
• Ability to supervise multi-crew field operations, craft workers, and subcontractors
• Knowledge of tools, heavy equipment, and their safe application
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Knowledge of job costing and cost-performance tracking
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local construction codes and safety regulations
• Communication skills for working with owners, clients, engineers, and field personnel
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
• Willingness to relocate to project sites and travel up to 80–90% during deployments

Responsibilities

• Lead Foremen and craft labor for mechanical construction work
• Plan and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources
• Maintain crew matrices, equipment plans, production schedules, work plans, and budgets
• Mentor and coach field supervision
• Serve as acting project leader and primary customer contact
• Deploy automated installation equipment with robotics engineers and field application teams
• Provide construction feasibility feedback for equipment design and deployment workflows
• Champion adoption of new tools and processes among field crews
• Document operational learnings, field-performance data, and process improvements
• Enforce company, EPC, and OSHA safety regulations
• Manage employee safety training
• Ensure construction work conforms to the project quality plan
