About the Role
You will lead hazardous-energy control across data center builds. You will approve switching and LOTO plans, authorize energizations, audit electrical safety controls, manage keys and tamper seals, and set standards for site-level Energy Marshals.
Requirements
- Five years of Energy Marshal or Controlling Energy Marshal experience
- Data center or mission-critical construction experience
- NFPA 70E qualified-person training
- NFPA CESCP or CESW credential
- OSHA 30 Construction
- First Aid
- CPR
- AED
- Switching order and LOTO procedure experience
- Medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution experience
- Electrical safety leadership
- Kirk key interlock management
- Tamper seal management
- Arc flash analysis
- SKM
- ETAP
- Utility interconnection
Responsibilities
- Own hazardous energy control across multiple data center builds
- Write review and approve switching plans LOTO procedures and energization sequences
- Run pre-energization and energization meetings
- Authorize pause or stop energization isolation and restoration
- Audit electrical safety controls in the field
- Manage Kirk key and tamper seal programs
- Select onboard and audit site-level Energy Marshals
- Build multi-site Energy Marshal standards training and tracking
