About the Role

You will manage open purchase orders across global suppliers and concurrent project sites. You will track manufacturing progress, inspections, delivery dates, risks, and recovery plans; expedite critical orders; coordinate logistics; report supplier performance; align priorities across sites; and travel to suppliers and project sites to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Experience expediting capital-equipment or industrial orders with direct schedule consequences
• Experience negotiating revised delivery commitments directly with vendors
• Ability to maintain order-tracking systems that clearly show status, risk, and recovery plans
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase-order documentation
• Experience coordinating multiple project sites or workstreams
• Clear written and verbal communication for root-cause analyses and recovery plans
• Experience in multi-site EPC or construction environments
• Experience with electrical equipment, mechanical rotating equipment, or structural materials
• Knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs compliance
• Knowledge of supply chain analytics and project management software

Responsibilities

• Manage the live order tracker for open purchase orders across global suppliers and project sites
• Expedite critical and at-risk orders by renegotiating delivery commitments and coordinating logistics
• Run weekly and monthly reporting on delivery, lead times, vendor performance, late orders, and recovery plans
• Align procurement priorities across project sites to resolve vendor-capacity and logistics conflicts
• Travel to vendor facilities and project sites to validate progress and resolve issues
