About the Role
You will lead engineers building scalable infrastructure and products for cloud data and machine-learning workloads. You will help build reliable services and client libraries, operational tools, and distributed-systems products. You will hire and develop engineers, set technical standards, create a long-term roadmap with leadership, and coordinate execution across teams.
Requirements
- Experience hiring and developing talent and leadership
- Experience creating processes that improve velocity and quality
- Experience managing teams that build and operate high-volume distributed systems in a SaaS environment
- Experience scaling engineering teams from 5 to 30+
- Ability to work with other departments
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field
