About the Role
You will design scalable Kubernetes control-plane architectures, build Operators and CRDs, optimize etcd, and implement secure multi-tenant isolation. You will lead upgrades and federation initiatives, integrate GPU orchestration layers, conduct design reviews, mentor engineers, and mitigate reliability risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Hands-on Go expertise
- Experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem, including Operators, API Server, etcd, and Cluster API
- Experience operating, debugging, and scaling production distributed systems
- Understanding of multi-tenancy, cluster federation, and API governance
- Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and managed cloud services
- Technical leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable control-plane architectures using Cluster API
- Develop Kubernetes Operators and Custom Resource Definitions
- Optimize etcd performance and state management
- Implement secure multi-tenant API-server isolation
- Architect zero-downtime upgrades and multi-cluster federation
- Integrate the control plane with GPU orchestration layers
- Lead design reviews and mentor engineers
- Identify and mitigate control-plane failure modes
