About the Role

You will own the end-to-end delivery of complex features, from design through deployment, while ensuring performance, reliability, and engineering quality. You will implement architectural designs, improve engineering practices, mentor other engineers, use AI-assisted development tools, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Solid software engineering experience delivering complex technical solutions
• Deep expertise in Java
• Experience building and operating high-performance, mission-critical systems
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Ability to mentor and develop engineers
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, and API design
• Commitment to TDD, pairing, code reviews, and continuous improvement
• Strong English-language communication skills
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of technically complex features from design through deployment
• Take accountability for performance, reliability, and engineering quality
• Lead implementation of architectural designs and translate them into production-ready code
• Identify and champion beneficial technologies and engineering practices
• Address gaps in technical knowledge and engineering best practices
• Mentor team members and share software engineering expertise
• Work with the engineering manager to improve engineering standards
• Participate in the on-call rotation
