About the Role
You will develop scalable JVM services and APIs for real-time risk calculations. You will translate risk models into robust implementations, collaborate on financial products, optimize performance and maintainability, and uphold strong testing and code quality practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Java backend engineering experience
- Advanced Java proficiency
- Understanding of multithreading concurrency and JVM performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with unit integration TDD simulation and stress testing
- Knowledge of Agile design patterns DRY Clean Code and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with Git Docker Kubernetes and cloud platforms
- Foundational understanding of financial products risk management or risk methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field
- Familiarity with event-sourced architectures columnar databases Kotlin or Chronicle Queue
Responsibilities
