About the Role

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and banking business logic. You will build database solutions, write and optimize SQL queries, improve application performance and maintainability, contribute to architecture decisions, and support reviews, quality assurance, testing, and releases in agile development teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or comparable qualification
  • Experience developing with Java 17 or later
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Maven, package repository management, software package distribution, Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Clean Architecture, and microservices
  • Very good German and good English language skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications
  • Develop business logic for banking applications
  • Develop high-performance database solutions using Oracle and PostgreSQL
  • Create and optimize complex SQL queries
  • Analyze and optimize existing applications for performance and maintainability
  • Manage the lifecycle of existing applications
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical concepts
  • Conduct code reviews and quality assurance
  • Support testing and release processes
  • Collaborate in agile development teams
