About the Role

You will write C++ and Python adapters, plugins, and interfaces for simulation environments and autonomy software. You will migrate HMSSimBlocks capabilities to HMSF, maintain legacy support, create reusable plugin architecture, diagnose integration issues, and develop automated tests and documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
Software development experience in C++ and Python within Linux
Software engineering fundamentals, including Git, automated testing, and debugging
Experience writing or maintaining plugins, baseline interfaces, or modeling frameworks for simulation environments
Familiarity with UDP, TCP, DDS, serialization, or CIGI
Technical troubleshooting skills
Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. SECRET security clearance
U.S. citizenship

Responsibilities

Write and maintain software adapters, plugins, and interfaces in C++ and Python
Migrate HMSSimBlocks capabilities to HMSF while supporting legacy users
Design and maintain a reusable CIGI plugin layer
Create extensible simulation-framework templates and code architectures
Maintain functional parity for CSF file loading, DDS communication, GRID interfaces, and Hivemind SDK updates
Support integration teams by debugging simulation-autonomy issues
Write unit tests, automated integration tests, and code documentation
