About the Role
You will develop vertically integrated C++ software for on-vehicle firmware and off-vehicle simulation tooling. You will bring up, validate, and debug compute platforms, drivers, and hardware-software interfaces. You will write unit and simulation tests, analyze telemetry and field logs, and participate in design discussions and code reviews.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a BS or MS program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Demonstrate a strong programming foundation in C or C++
- Understand data structures, pointers, and memory management
- Demonstrate problem-solving and debugging skills
- Be familiar with Linux development environments, command-line tools, and version control systems such as Git
Responsibilities
- Develop vertically integrated C++ software for on-vehicle firmware and off-vehicle simulation tooling
- Bring up, validate, and debug compute platforms, peripheral drivers, and hardware-software interfaces
- Write unit tests and software-in-the-loop simulation fixtures
- Analyze field data logs, vehicle telemetry, and simulation results
- Participate in engineering workflows, design discussions, and code reviews
