About the Role

You will design electrical schematics, PCB layouts, embedded and power circuits, and real-time embedded software. You will simulate and test designs, integrate electrical and mechanical components, document results, debug systems in lab and field environments, and optimize performance and power consumption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of microcontroller-based control systems, power conversion, and motor drives
  • Expertise with Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle, or similar PCB design tools
  • Proficiency with SPICE, ANSYS Electronics, or similar simulation tools
  • Experience integrating electrical components with mechanical systems
  • Experience testing and validating designs against military standards
  • Experience developing embedded software for real-time safety-critical systems
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Experience with real-time robotics systems
  • Ability to integrate sensors, actuators, and control hardware

Responsibilities

  • Create electrical schematics and PCB layouts for embedded and power circuits
  • Design and implement real-time embedded software in C++ and Python
  • Perform signal-integrity, thermal, and electromagnetic-compatibility simulations
  • Integrate electrical components with mechanical systems
  • Lead PCB development and apply layout, signal-integrity, power-distribution, and EMC practices
  • Develop and maintain design, simulation, and test documentation
  • Test and debug embedded systems in lab and field environments
  • Optimize code performance and power consumption
