About the Role
You will learn the KTG and CATHARE environments, reactor fluid systems, and incident and accident operating procedures. You will build the KTG architecture, write Python automation scripts for operator actions and procedure tests, and validate the programming against CATHARE simulations of accident transients.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a Bac+5 engineering degree or equivalent university qualification
- Have knowledge of thermal hydraulics
- Have knowledge of numerical simulation
- Know pressurized-water reactor operation
- Know Unix/Linux environments
- Have programming skills in Python, C, Fortran, or artificial intelligence
- Be proficient with office software
- Have fluent French and operational English
Responsibilities
- Learn reactor fluid systems, incident and accident operating procedures, CATHARE, and KTG
- Build the KTG architecture for CIA modelling
- Write Python code for procedure actions and tests
- Validate programming through CATHARE simulations of accident transients
