About the Role

This expert-level individual contributor role leads neutral, timely, and thorough workplace investigations across North America, advises leadership and HR, supports employment legal projects, delivers training, coaches HR partners, and analyzes trends to improve employee relations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience focused on workplace investigations
  • Deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations across North America
  • Experience handling confidential information
  • Experience working across time zones and cultures
  • Experience in technology or corporate environments
  • Law license in at least one US state
  • Experience in a global or high-growth technology company
  • Employment Legal practice experience
  • AWI-CH

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage internal investigations across North America
  • Conduct intakes and interviews
  • Collect, weigh, and search forensic evidence
  • Analyze findings against internal policies and determine violations
  • Debrief stakeholders and leadership on investigation conclusions
  • Draft defensible reports documenting findings and policy conclusions
  • Lead Employment Legal and Employee Relations projects
  • Partner with legal teams on guidance and frameworks
  • Identify conflicts of interest and compliance concerns
  • Review and recommend policy updates
  • Design and deliver training programs
  • Coach HR Business Partners on employee relations matters
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend prevention initiatives
  • Help build an Employment Legal and Employee Relations analytics program
