About the Role
You will transform complex product, customer, and risk data into actionable insights and durable measurement systems. You will define metrics, analyze experiments and policy changes, forecast demand, model staffing, monitor risk performance and bias, build scalable analytical tooling, advise stakeholders, set technical standards, and mentor junior data scientists.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative field with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree in a relevant quantitative field with 6–8+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrate advanced SQL proficiency
- Build clear, decision-oriented data visualizations
- Apply strong product, analytical, and statistical judgment to ambiguous product, customer, and risk questions
- Communicate analytical tradeoffs clearly and support decisions
- Use AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and durability of analytical work
Responsibilities
- Turn product, customer, and risk data into insights, decision frameworks, and durable measurement systems
- Use AI tools and agent workflows to accelerate exploration, automate repetitive tasks, generate hypotheses, and stress-test conclusions
- Own analysis, metric definition, experimentation, forecasting, visualization, and decision support
- Define and maintain measurement frameworks for contact demand forecasting, staffing modeling, queue health, and optimization
- Evaluate risk model and policy performance, monitor cohorts, identify bias or drift, and connect risk decisions to business impact
- Design and analyze experiments, rollouts, and policy changes affecting customer access, repayment outcomes, and product growth
- Define cohorts, metrics, and decision criteria for ambiguous risk and support questions
- Communicate insights to technical, product, business, risk, and senior stakeholders
- Lead technical direction and standards, build consensus, and create reusable frameworks, templates, and scalable tooling
- Connect measurement and insights across Support and Risk Operations and align data science work with broader strategy
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to hiring through interviews and calibrations
