About the Role
You will own commercial and transactional matters from initial client contact through signature. You will draft and negotiate agreements, advise on regulatory, product, governance, financing, and employment issues, and translate business objectives into protective legal terms. You will use modern legal technology and develop scalable templates, processes, and playbooks.
Requirements
- Hold a JD from an accredited US law school.
- Be admitted to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
- Bring at least 2 years of experience at a top-tier law firm focused on technology transactions, M&A, or commercial contracts.
- Demonstrate exceptional legal drafting skills with clarity, precision, and speed.
- Operate effectively amid shifting priorities and rapid turnaround expectations.
- Use AI and technology tools to improve legal work and delivery speed without compromising accuracy.
- Build trust effectively with business counterparts.
- In-house experience at a growth-stage technology company is preferred.
- Familiarity with payments infrastructure, fintech, or digital assets is preferred.
- Experience with cross-border commercial agreements or international corporate structures is preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales teams on complex multi-stakeholder deals is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and close integration partnership agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and other commercial documents.
- Support regulatory analysis, product counseling, corporate governance, financing matters, and employment issues.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Product, and Finance to translate commercial objectives into clear and protective legal terms.
- Use AI and modern legal tools to accelerate legal drafting, research, and review.
- Build legal processes, templates, and playbooks for a scaling organization.
