About the Role
You will serve as a cross-functional legal partner for music, business development, and consumer partnership work. You will structure, negotiate, and close music partnerships, business-development partnerships, developer agreements, and other commercial transactions. You will develop contract templates and strategic playbooks that support commercial decisions.
Requirements
- JD and active US state bar membership in good standing
- 8+ years of experience
- Substantial in-house experience preferred
- Music or entertainment experience preferred
- Business acumen
- Ability to partner with business and technical teams
- Clear communication with business and technical audiences
- Eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to work on site
Responsibilities
- Partner with music, business development, and consumer partnership teams
- Structure, negotiate, and close music and business-development partnerships
- Negotiate developer agreements and general commercial transactions
- Build commercial legal infrastructure, contract templates, and strategic playbooks
- Advise business partners on commercial decisions
