About the Role
You will oversee complex IT, network, and cloud procurement contracts, negotiate service-level agreements, manage licensing transitions, ensure privacy and security compliance, optimize cloud spending, coordinate renewals, resolve vendor disputes, and track hardware and software assets. You will translate technical requirements into business terms and collaborate with technical, legal, and financial stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in IT procurement, technology vendor management, or legal contract administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, or a related field
- Understanding of public and private cloud hierarchy
- Understanding of virtualization and network security concepts
- Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management platforms
- Experience with enterprise ERP tools such as SAP or Oracle
- Understanding of intellectual property rights, liability limitations, and Data Processing Agreements
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-driven terms
- Certified Professional Contract Manager certification is a bonus
- Foundational cloud certification is a bonus
- Experience managing data center hardware procurement is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Define and negotiate complex Service Level Agreements focused on uptime, latency, and mean time to repair
- Manage transitions from perpetual licenses to subscription-based cloud models across Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Ensure vendor agreements adhere to GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, and internal security standards
- Monitor cloud consumption and eliminate unused licenses or inactive instances
- Oversee contract timelines and co-terminous renewal structures
- Enforce SLA compliance and negotiate credit claims for vendor performance failures
- Maintain an inventory of physical hardware assets and software licenses
- Collaborate with technical, legal, and financial stakeholders
