Lead Adyen's Financial Sponsor partnerships channel across private equity and venture capital by defining regional strategy, managing high-value sponsors, building repeatable engagement and co-selling motions, educating investment and operating teams, tracking commercial performance, coordinating cross-functional execution, and mentoring partnership managers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial experience in fintech, enterprise software sales, corporate development, or consulting
• 4+ years of experience working within or selling to the Private Equity or Venture Capital ecosystem
• Understanding of the payments value chain
• Existing relationships with Private Equity Operating Partners, portfolio managers, or corporate decision-makers
• Strong presentation and executive communication skills
• Comfort using financial models, data-driven frameworks, and EBITDA impact analyses

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial go-to-market strategy for PE/VC firms in North America
• Design partnership motions for sponsor engagement, portfolio mapping, and co-selling
• Cultivate and scale relationships with major private equity firms and operating partners
• Educate investment and operating teams on payment optimization and embedded finance
• Coordinate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Account Management
• Own commercial targets for the defined PE/VC portfolio
• Monitor and report on partner-originated pipeline, closed-won revenue, and channel ROI
• Mentor junior and mid-level Commercial Partnership Managers
