About the Role
You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements supporting sales, partnerships, and vendors. You will advise on intellectual property, privacy, security, licensing, and go-to-market matters; improve legal processes and playbooks; monitor relevant laws; develop specialized legal knowledge; and provide practical guidance that balances business objectives and legal risk.
Requirements
- Law degree from an accredited U.S. institution
- Qualification to practice law as an in-house U.S. attorney
- 6+ years of post-qualification commercial transaction experience
- Experience with SaaS, IP licensing, software licensing, product resale, and distribution
- In-house legal department experience in the technology sector
- Data processing agreement negotiation experience
- GDPR
- CCPA
- Enterprise customer negotiation experience
- Cloud services, technology, and professional services contract knowledge
- Sales operations and revenue recognition knowledge
- Order Form and Statement of Work experience
- Artificial intelligence term negotiation experience
- Knowledge of AI models, IP ownership, and training data
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Support sales, partnerships, and vendor transactions

- Improve processes, policies, and playbooks
- Monitor relevant laws, regulations, and developments
