About the Role
You'll join AlphaSense's Financial Services Sales team as a new business sales professional focused on the Financial Markets segment. You'll own the end-to-end sales process across hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and sell-side research teams within your territory. Working alongside Sales Development Representatives, you'll research and prospect new relationships through consultative selling, deliver engaging product demonstrations, and manage product trials with Product Specialists to drive successful client adoption. You'll maintain a strong sales pipeline, deliver accurate forecasts, and act as the voice of the customer to help shape product and go-to-market strategy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into Financial Services
- Business proficiency in Japanese is highly desirable
- Proven track record exceeding quota in a hunter/new logo role
- Experience with value-based, consultative selling
- Comfortable managing demos, trials, and full-cycle sales using modern sales tools and processes
- Understanding of buy- and sell-side workflows, market dynamics, and client pain points
Responsibilities

- Act as the voice of the customer, sharing feedback to help shape product and go-to-market strategies
