About the Role
You will monitor and act on policy-violating content and behavior, investigate complex child-safety cases, and escalate matters when required. You will process appeals, audit automations, label safety use cases, support curated data delivery, analyze abuse vectors, and improve AI enforcement and safety defenses.
Requirements
- Expertise improving large language models related to child sexual exploitation
- Expertise identifying, mitigating, and preventing child sexual abuse material and child sexual exploitation
- Knowledge of legal obligations including NCMEC reporting
- Online-safety experience
- Ability to interpret and apply safety policies
- Ethical reasoning and risk-assessment skills
- Communication, interpersonal, analytical, and ethical decision-making skills
- Data-analysis expertise
- 3+ years of professional experience in online child safety, criminal investigations, Trust and Safety operations, or a related field
- U.S. citizenship, nationality, lawful permanent residency, refugee status, asylee status, or eligibility for required U.S. Department of State authorization
Responsibilities
- Monitor and act on content and behavior that violates terms of service
- Identify, investigate, and mitigate child-safety threats and risks
- Investigate complex child-safety cases and escalate matters when required
- Respond to time-sensitive escalations
- Process appeals and audit automations
- Label safety use cases and provide project annotations
- Support curated data for rules enforcement and ethical alignment
- Provide feedback to improve AI defenses and rules enforcement
- Analyze emerging abuse vectors and design enforcement automations
