About the Role

You will take ownership of the company's accounting systems and processes, tailoring them to digital currency trading and payment settlement while aligning with global accounting standards. You'll manage daily accounting operations, oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and conduct financial analysis to flag risks and opportunities. You'll coordinate audits, handle tax compliance and planning across multiple jurisdictions, and oversee fund and asset management including digital assets. You'll also build and lead the accounting team, guiding their professional growth, and work closely with trading, compliance, risk, and operations teams to keep financial practices aligned with business needs and global regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of financial accounting and management work experience, including 3+ years of accounting team management experience
  • Preferred experience in fintech, digital currency, payment, or financial institutions
  • Proficient in accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP)
  • Familiar with global tax policies and regulations, especially digital asset-related tax policies
  • Proficient in financial accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Kingdee, etc.) and office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiar with financial compliance requirements related to digital currency exchanges
  • Understanding of digital currency trading and payment business model
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
  • Strong compliance awareness and risk control capabilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
  • Relevant professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred
  • Experience in compliant digital currency exchanges or fintech companies
  • Experience in handling cross-border financial and tax business (EU, Hong Kong, United States)
  • Experience coordinating external audits (Big 4 accounting firms) and regulatory inspections
  • Familiar with financial risk management methods

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and improve the company's accounting management system, standards, and operating procedures
  • Optimize accounting workflow to improve efficiency and accuracy of daily accounting business
  • Supervise management of accounting documents and vouchers for completeness and traceability
  • Coordinate with IT team to optimize the financial accounting system
  • Oversee daily financial accounting work including digital currency transactions and fund settlement
  • Organize preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Conduct financial analysis on operating results, financial status, and cash flow
  • Coordinate with internal and external audit institutions to complete audits and regulatory inspections
  • Formulate tax management plans and tax planning strategies across jurisdictions
  • Organize completion of tax declarations, calculations, and payments
  • Handle tax registration, filing, inspection, and appeal matters
  • Carry out tax planning to reduce tax burden while maintaining compliance
  • Oversee fund management including receipt, payment, reconciliation, and cash flow forecasting
  • Manage accounting of company assets including digital assets and fixed assets
  • Supervise accounting treatment of user assets to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Build, manage, and develop the accounting team including OKRs and performance standards
  • Arrange daily work assignments and supervise team progress
  • Guide team members' professional growth through training
  • Manage team performance and conduct performance reviews
  • Communicate with trading, compliance, risk control, and operations departments
  • Cooperate with compliance team on financial compliance and regulatory reporting
  • Provide financial consulting and support to other departments
