About the Role

Own the company's accounting systems and processes for digital currency trading and payment settlement, manage financial reporting and analysis, coordinate audits, oversee tax compliance and planning, manage funds and assets including digital assets, and lead the accounting team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of financial accounting and management experience, including 3+ years managing an accounting team.
  • Preferred experience in fintech, digital currency, payment, or financial institutions.
  • Proficiency in IFRS, US GAAP, and local GAAP.
  • Knowledge of global tax policies, regulations, and digital asset-related taxation.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Kingdee, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of financial compliance requirements for digital currency exchanges.
  • Understanding of digital currency trading and payment business models.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, organization, and coordination skills.
  • Strong compliance awareness and financial risk-control capabilities.
  • Fluent oral and written Chinese and English communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred.
  • Accounting management experience in compliant digital currency exchanges or fintech companies.
  • Experience with cross-border financial and tax matters involving the EU, Hong Kong, and the United States.
  • Experience coordinating Big Four audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Knowledge of financial risk management methods.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and improve accounting management systems, standards, and procedures.
  • Optimize accounting workflows and ensure accurate daily accounting operations.
  • Oversee digital currency transaction accounting, fund settlement, user assets, income, expenses, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze operating results, financial position, and cash flow to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Develop tax management and planning strategies across jurisdictions.
  • Manage tax declarations, calculations, payments, registrations, filings, inspections, and appeals.
  • Oversee fund receipt, payment, reconciliation, supervision, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Manage company assets, including digital, fixed, and current assets.
  • Build, manage, and develop the accounting team, including OKRs, performance reviews, and training.
  • Collaborate with trading, compliance, risk, and operations teams.
  • Support financial compliance and regulatory reporting.
  • Provide accounting and tax consulting to other departments.
