About the Role
You will manage fund accounting activities for PEP and SLS funds, overseeing analysts and associates. You will close and reconcile the books, review NAV and financial statements, calculate fees, review capital statements and fund expenses, support compliance and corporate reporting, and handle stakeholder requests and projects.
Requirements
- 6–12 years of relevant accounting experience
- Financial services experience
- Asset management or alternative investment industry experience preferred
- Accounting degree preferred
- CPA preferred
Responsibilities
- Close the funds’ books monthly and quarterly with fund administrators
- Prepare financial statements and disclosures
- Review financial statements
- Calculate and review management and incentive fee waterfalls
- Review partners’ capital statements
- Review capital call and distribution calculations and notices
- Review fund expenses accruals and payments
- Review investor return and NAV estimates
- Prepare and review GAAP financial statements
- Support corporate reporting requirements
- Oversee compliance-related requests including Form ADV and Form PF
- Manage the daily fund accounting function and accounting team
- Interact with internal stakeholders external administrators and auditors
- Complete ad hoc reporting and projects
