About the Role

Manage quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and SEC filings, lead close-to-reporting processes, support XBRL tagging, coordinate reporting inputs across teams, prepare or review complex journal entries and reconciliations, research technical accounting issues, work with external auditors, and implement process, system, and AI-enabled improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience
  • 2+ years at a Big Four audit firm
  • Progressive SEC reporting experience at a public company
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of internal control frameworks
  • Ability to research and resolve complex technical accounting issues
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience driving change, improving processes, implementing systems, and scaling operations
  • Experience supporting an S-1 filing is preferred
  • NetSuite experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Prepare S-1, 10-K, and 10-Q filings
  • Lead close-to-reporting processes
  • Reconcile financial statements and supporting schedules to source records
  • Document and explain variances
  • Support XBRL tagging and regulatory reporting
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and Investor Relations
  • Prepare or review journal entries and reconciliations
  • Research the accounting impact of complex transactions
  • Coordinate external audit requests and documentation
  • Implement process, system, and AI-enabled reporting improvements
