About the Role
You will lead quality engineering practices and automation strategy, architect testing frameworks, develop automated test suites for Node.js, Express, and Go services, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, promote testability, guide exploratory testing, define quality standards, and mentor SDETs and engineers.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in test automation, software engineering, or quality engineering
- Hands-on programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Go
- Experience architecting and scaling automated testing frameworks
- Proficiency with Jest, Mocha, Supertest, Go test, Testify, or Ginkgo
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress
- Understanding of API testing with Postman or REST-assured
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD environments
- Debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to testing architecture and automation frameworks
- Architect and implement unit, integration, contract, and E2E test suites
- Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
- Embed testability into system design
- Drive exploratory testing for distributed systems
- Define quality standards, testing strategies, and metrics
- Mentor SDETs and engineers
