About the Role
You will own and evolve test automation strategies, frameworks, and tooling across products. You will partner with Product and Engineering to embed quality earlier in the development lifecycle, design automated testing frameworks for reliable CI delivery, build and maintain coverage with modern testing tools, define functional, system, security, and performance testing approaches, lead manual QA and regression testing, establish test data and environment strategies, track quality metrics and release readiness, investigate production issues, and advocate for testing best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of quality engineering experience
- Experience establishing comprehensive quality programs for SaaS products
- Experience with functional, security, system, and performance testing
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering
- Expertise with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise with Playwright and Jest
- Experience defining SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
- API testing proficiency with Postman or CLI tools
- Experience defining test data and environment strategies
- Knowledge of QA methodologies including equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and state transition testing
- Experience debugging high-impact production issues
- Experience authoring Cursor or Claude Code SKILL.md files and building agentic tooling
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve test automation strategies, frameworks, and tooling

- Design and implement automated testing frameworks for CI delivery
- Build and maintain automated test coverage using Playwright, Python, Jest, React Testing Library, and other modern testing tools
- Define functional, system, security, and performance testing approaches
- Lead manual QA and regression testing for new features
- Establish test data and environment strategies
- Define and track quality metrics, SLOs, and SLIs
- Investigate and debug high-impact production issues
- Advocate for testing best practices and improve quality processes
