About the Role
You will establish operational safety standards across programs, including procedures, readiness checklists, incident classification, compliance obligations, and evidence records. You will lead incident management, regulatory and fleet compliance, safety trend analysis, safety reporting, and deployment-readiness reviews.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in operational compliance, transportation safety, program management, or a related field
- 3+ years in a safety-critical or regulated environment
- Experience owning compliance programs and building compliance frameworks
- Experience standardizing processes across multiple programs, sites, or business units
- Experience with root-cause analysis and CAPA through verified closure
- Ability to build audit-ready documentation and recordkeeping systems
- Written communication skills for operator procedures and executive summaries
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field, or equivalent experience leading complex commercial vehicle or autonomy operations
Responsibilities
- Establish a unified operational framework with SOPs, readiness checklists, and incident taxonomy
- Own the operational safety ownership map
- Develop and maintain safety-driven operational procedures
- Represent operations in change-control and deployment-readiness reviews
- Own the operational compliance framework for permits, authorizations, customer obligations, audits, and regulatory changes
- Ensure fleet compliance requirements are met and documented
- Own incident management from classification and response through root-cause analysis, CAPA, and verified effectiveness
- Drive cross-program incident and safety trend analysis
- Maintain operational safety evidence, support safety cases, and report safety performance
