About the Role

You will own the workers compensation program across business units, from carrier and TPA selection through claims closure. You will manage work-related injury cases, build return-to-work programs, establish industrial hygiene and ergonomics programs, maintain OSHA records, and use claims and clinic data to improve controls.

Requirements

  • Experience managing a multi-state workers compensation program for a workforce of thousands
  • Experience managing high-severity injury cases in construction, manufacturing, or heavy industry
  • Experience building return-to-work or transitional-duty programs
  • Experience leading field industrial hygiene and ergonomics work
  • Experience owning OSHA recordkeeping across multiple sites and supporting inspections or audits
  • Experience working with carriers, adjusters, counsel, occupational physicians, HR, and injured employees
  • Experience using claims and clinic data to improve controls

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-business-unit workers compensation program
  • Manage work-related injury and illness cases from report through return to duty
  • Build return-to-work and transitional-duty programs
  • Establish industrial hygiene, ergonomics, exposure-assessment, and medical-surveillance programs
  • Maintain OSHA and state injury and illness records and filings
  • Analyze claims, near-miss, and clinic data to identify injury trends and cost drivers
