About the Role
You will configure and improve internal robot networking, validate real-time traffic, and characterize cellular, Wi-Fi, and satellite link performance. You will investigate connectivity issues using packet captures and logs, and maintain network diagrams, configuration baselines, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- BSc or higher in Telecommunications Engineering, Telematics Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Networking fundamentals across the TCP/IP stack
- Hands-on networking, robotics, or drone experience
- Linux and Git experience
- Python or Golang scripting and basic C++ knowledge
Responsibilities
- Configure and improve internal robot networks, including VLAN, NTP/PTP, DHCP, and DNS
- Ensure ROS2/DDS, WebRTC, and MQTT traffic behaves correctly on the network
- Characterize cellular, Wi-Fi, and satellite link performance
- Assess coverage, throughput, latency, antenna placement, and system comparisons
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues using packet captures and logs
- Maintain network diagrams, configuration baselines, and technical documentation
