About the Role
You will lead end-to-end production-line construction and automation projects using robot arms. You will identify production-site issues, analyze processes, design processes and line layouts, define automation-equipment specifications, manage quality, cost, and schedules, and coordinate internal and external engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in production engineering, equipment engineering, process design, equipment implementation, or production-line launch
- Experience solving issues while coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- Business-level Japanese
Responsibilities
- Identify issues and analyze processes at customer production sites
- Design production processes, takt times, and line balancing
- Define specifications for robots, end effectors, and conveyance equipment
- Design equipment layouts and conveyance flows
- Manage project quality, cost, and schedules
- Coordinate with internal and external software, mechanical, and control engineers
