About the Role
You will lead assigned data-collection shifts, coordinate daily work, coach teammates, answer questions, and escalate issues. You will operate robotic arms to complete tasks and collect accurate data. You will create and follow task prompts, troubleshoot problems, and explore task variations to improve data quality.
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrate interest in robotics or engineering through school, projects, clubs, or hobby work
- Demonstrate experience leading a shift or team in a fast-paced setting
- Work onsite in Santa Clara, California, for either the day or evening shift
- Have reliable transportation to the Santa Clara office
- Have and maintain US work authorization
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day data collection work during assigned shifts
- Support and coach teammates, answer questions, and escalate issues
- Manipulate robotic arms to perform assigned tasks and collect high-quality data
- Create and follow task prompts
- Troubleshoot issues and improve task execution and data quality
- Explore approaches, scenarios, and task variations to generate valuable datasets
- Learn from engineers across AI, software, test, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
