About the Role
You will create and optimize algorithms for 3D bin packing, container loading, and space utilization. You will integrate packing logic with real-time motion planning and digital-twin workflows, account for operational constraints, and work with stakeholders to turn logistics requirements into production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++
- Understanding of algorithms, computational geometry, spatial data structures, packing problems, or operations research
- Familiarity with optimization frameworks or custom heuristics and solvers
- Ability to translate logistics and warehouse constraints into maintainable software
- Exposure to mixed-SKU palletizing, container loading or unloading, or dynamic storage and packing systems
- Professional working proficiency in English
Responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithms for 3D bin packing, loading, and space optimization
- Work with spatial reasoning, 3D geometry, collision detection, and geometric data structures
- Integrate packing logic with real-time motion-planning and digital-twin workflows
- Align packing algorithms with robot kinematics and operational constraints
- Profile, test, and optimize algorithms for performance and scalability
- Translate real-world logistics constraints into production-ready technical solutions
