About the Role
You will deploy and operate robotic systems at active construction sites across the United States. You will use a tablet to monitor systems, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues, deliver accurate layouts, and share field insights that support product improvements and sales efforts. When not traveling, you will prepare for projects from the Houston headquarters.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Based in or willing to relocate to Houston, Texas
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Willingness to travel on domestic U.S. airlines up to 90% of the time
- Ability to transport robots and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions on active construction sites
- Ability to navigate uneven ground, scaffolding, ladders, and stairs
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment for extended periods
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Responsibilities
- Travel frequently across the United States to deploy and operate robots on active construction sites
- Use a tablet to operate and monitor robotic systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related technical issues on site
- Report field insights and propose product improvements with the engineering team
- Develop expertise in the system to deliver accurate customer layouts
- Represent Rugged Robotics professionally with clients on site
