About the Role

You will set the programme's translation strategy, assess commercial opportunities and guide portfolio decisions. You will work with Creator teams and partners to validate customer needs, build shared infrastructure and support the commercialisation of dexterous robotics.

Requirements

  • Assess emerging technology commercial potential and routes to commercialisation
  • Have moved a technically complex physical product beyond research or prototype stage
  • Engage with researchers and engineers to assess technical assumptions
  • Build cross-organisational partnerships
  • Lead complex portfolios using evidence-based milestones
  • Travel to locations across the UK and internationally when necessary

Responsibilities

  • Lead the programme translation strategy
  • Identify commercialisation opportunities, milestones and measures of progress
  • Build evidence plans for priority Creator teams
  • Recommend translation-resource allocation and portfolio decisions
  • Turn promising R&D into credible commercial opportunities
  • Design portfolio-wide commercialisation mechanisms
  • Bring customers and industry partners into development
  • Build partnerships, shared infrastructure and specialist support
  • Connect teams with talent and capital
