About the Role
You will design robotic end-of-arm tooling, fixtures, and material-presentation solutions using SolidWorks. You will create and print concept parts, lead design reviews, source components, assemble robotic cell solutions, support customer proposals and RFQs, assess safety risks, and travel for deployments when needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency with SolidWorks
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- 3+ years of experience excluding internships
- Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
- Ability to communicate and present effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
Responsibilities
- Design robotic end-of-arm tooling, fixtures, and material-presentation solutions
- Create and 3D print concept parts for engineering evaluation
- Develop preliminary 3D design concepts and technical information
- Lead preliminary and critical design review meetings
- Source manufactured and purchased components
- Assemble robotic cell solutions within program lead times
- Support robotic tooling and fixture solutions for customer RFQs
- Assess robotic-cell hazards and recommend safety solutions
- Travel for deployments as required
