About the Role
You will design, build, and activate fluid systems for power generation infrastructure. You will create piping designs and diagrams, select equipment, coordinate multidisciplinary designs, manage field installation, and troubleshoot systems during operations and commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ years of experience with fluid systems or process engineering
- Willingness to travel to other locations as necessary
- Flexibility for schedules driven by plant operational needs
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and activate fluid systems for power generation plants
- Design and analyze process and utility fluid systems using thermodynamics, fluid flow, and control theory
- Model piping assemblies and perform piping stress analysis
- Develop detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams
- Select fluid-system components and provide purchase specifications
- Coordinate complete system designs with other engineering disciplines
- Manage fabrication, installation, and construction projects at power plants
- Plan, analyze, and troubleshoot system performance during operations, commissioning, and post-outage reviews
- Coordinate with operations teams to support long-term system operation
- Develop solutions under minimal supervision
