About the Role

You will build analytical performance models, functional and timing simulators, and virtual platforms for AI inference systems. You will validate models against reference implementations and hardware results, automate regression testing, improve simulator usability and speed, and work with hardware and software specialists to support realistic workloads.

Requirements

• Software engineering skills in C++ or Rust
• Experience building simulators performance models emulators or comparable systems tools
• Understanding of processors memory hierarchies interconnects concurrency and data movement
• Experience designing and validating models for fidelity determinism and execution speed
• Applied mathematics and quantitative reasoning skills
• Ability to integrate complex software systems and debug cross-component interactions
• Technical writing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical models of inference workloads
• Build functional and timing models of accelerator systems
• Integrate accelerator models with virtual platforms and host interfaces
• Compare architectures through reproducible experiments
• Align simulator interfaces with firmware runtime and host software
• Validate numerical behavior and timing assumptions
• Build automated regression coverage
• Improve simulator speed usability tracing and test automation
• Collaborate on command semantics scheduling assumptions and model interfaces
