About the Role
You will build precision electromechanical hand subassemblies using motors, encoders, PCBs, and harnesses. You will meet shift targets, inspect and document defects, maintain build logs, use ESD practices, and partner with engineering and other shifts to improve line performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years in precision electromechanical assembly, micro assembly, or similar fine-component manufacturing
- Experience assembling miniature motors, gearboxes, encoders, PCBs, and fine-pitch connectors
- Proficiency with precision hand tools, calibrated torque instruments, and dimensional inspection tools
- Working knowledge of ESD handling procedures and controlled-environment protocols
- Professional-level written and verbal English proficiency
Responsibilities
- Build hand subassemblies to specification
- Meet shift production targets while maintaining quality
- Catch and document defects, process deviations, and material issues
- Maintain build logs and inspection data
- Drive continuous improvement with engineering and the opposite shift
