About the Role
You will keep electronics laboratories safe, operational, and ready for engineering work. You will support facilities, equipment, test benches, board modifications, cable work, ESD controls, calibration, asset management, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Experience working in an electronics lab environment
- Understanding of electronic test equipment, setup, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of ESD prevention, health and safety, and laboratory working practices
- Experience repairing and modifying PCB assemblies to IPC-7711/21 and J-STD-001 standards
- Experience with cable and wire harness assemblies to drawings and IPC-620 standards
- Experience with IPC-A-610 inspection
- Communication and mentoring ability
Responsibilities
- Maintain laboratory facilities, equipment, procedures, and practical setups
- Support test benches and equipment configuration
- Perform board modifications and cable work
- Maintain ESD controls, calibration, and asset management
- Develop standard operating procedures
- Promote safe laboratory working practices
- Support engineers through technical guidance and mentoring
