About the Role
You will assemble robotic cells and automated equipment, interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics, and support installation and deployment at customer locations. You will review designs, create assembly plans, track progress and budgets, update process documentation, and provide engineering feedback. This role requires extensive travel outside Mexico.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Technical mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills
- Assembly, repair, and maintenance experience with robotic controllers, mechanical devices, automation equipment, conveyors, and peripheral equipment
- SolidWorks, eDrawings, and AutoCAD knowledge
- Experience handling workshop tools, including lathe, milling, drilling, and precision measurement tools
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly ascend heights
- Troubleshooting and repair capabilities
- B1/B2 English level
- No travel restrictions
- Passport and USA visa
Responsibilities
- Interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics
- Assemble robotic cells and automated equipment
- Review mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic designs
- Report project progress and status
- Create assembly plans using tools such as Gantt charts, Excel, and Jira
- Provide feedback to engineering
- Support installation and deployment plans
- Develop and update process documentation
- Administer forecasts and budgets
- Create layout designs
- Travel extensively to locations outside Mexico
