About the Role
You will keep robotics systems operational, create technical documentation and assembly instructions, and integrate mechanical, software, and manufacturing components. You will assemble and repair robots, cables, and PCBs; perform soldering and troubleshooting; maintain BOM and quality documentation; support procurement; and travel to client sites.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience soldering SMD components
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of electronics design principles
- Knowledge of actuators, sensors, and sensor integration
- Ability to solve common problems quickly
- Proficiency in Altium or Solidworks
- Experience with rapid prototyping using 3D printing, CNC machining, or laser cutting
- 3–5 years of related work experience
- Experience in robotics, mechatronics, or automation
- Experience designing cabling solutions and cable harnesses
- Familiarity with electronics design and PCB production stages
- Knowledge of structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis
- Firmware development experience
Responsibilities
- Ensure robotics systems remain ready for use
- Create technical documentation, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Collaborate on system integration across mechanical, software, and manufacturing functions
- Maintain bills of materials, assembly instructions, quality-control documentation, and SOPs
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electronic issues during development and production
- Assemble and disassemble robot components, cables, PCBs, and devices
- Perform soldering, desoldering, wiring, and basic troubleshooting
- Support procurement by sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations
- Travel to China for business trips and to client sites
- Work autonomously on evolving tasks
