About the Role
You will independently drive hardware development from early concepts and prototypes through circuit design, PCB layout, bring-up, validation, integration, and deployment. You will make system tradeoffs and work across mechanical, firmware, software, controls, manufacturing, and research disciplines.
Requirements
- 6+ years developing electrical systems for robotics, consumer electronics, medical devices, wearables, cameras, or related electromechanical products
- Experience owning hardware from concept through PCB layout, bring-up, validation, and deployment
- Experience designing compact, high-density electronics within mechanical constraints
- Ability to reason across electrical, firmware, and mechanical boundaries
- Ability to independently turn loosely defined problems into working systems
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on hardware systems
Responsibilities
- Own electrical architecture for integrated robotic and electromechanical systems
- Design compact electronics including circuits, components, PCB layouts, bring-up, validation, and deployment
- Build and validate integrated robotic hardware
- Drive observed hardware issues through root cause and design resolution
- Partner across mechanical, firmware, software, controls, manufacturing, and research functions
- Make engineering tradeoffs across performance, size, power, reliability, manufacturability, and iteration speed
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance with employer Health Savings Account contributions
- Pre-tax Health FSA, Dependent Care FSA, parking, and transit accounts
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
- Paid parental, medical, and caregiver leave
- Flexible PTO or up to 15 annual days for non-exempt employees
- Paid company holidays, office closures, and sick or safe time
